June 2009
The piece "Nobody Lives Alone" from the journalist author Maria Joana Ramalhão (RTP), won one of the more relevant journalism prizes in Portugal. I had a great pleasure of working and collaborating with Joana Ramalhão, in this piece, delivering some images of the work "YMYI".
The report "Nobody lives Alone" won the prize AMI "Journalism against Indifference." "Nobody Lives Alone" is a work of journalists Jana Ramalhão and Paulo Maio Gomes, edition by Dores Queirós.
It is a work that tackles the lives of 3 young people living in institutions, and at 18 are invited to leave the institutions, putting into question the autonomy of its project life.
Some sequences of work YMYI appear in the piece, which were filmed specialy for the report, in the Ferreira Borges Market in 2008. The report was presented in a premium delivery ceremony scheduled for July 1, 2009, in the Pavilion of Knowledge, Portugal.
YMYI is a digital art work by Joao Martinho Moura, developed in the Master in Technology and Digital Arts, University of Minho.
