Arfiticial is a biologically inspired digital art application for the Apple iPhone platform.
It is beeing developed by João Martinho Moura jmartinho.org, envolving ideas from the Master in Technology and Digital Arts, from University of Minho, in collabration with TFDT.ORG.

Arfiticial simulates artificial neural networks, swarm intelligence, biologically inspired computation models in art.

Why the iPhone?
The iPhone is more than just a phone. It is a really portable processing machine and also a wanderfull piece where humans can interact with. Arfiticial makes use of all the processing core functionalities in the iPhone, taking the limits on a mobile computing environment.
